Tremonton City is nearing water source capacity during the summer months, and to increase capacity; the City is expanding its secondary water system. Culinary water rates have increased starting in January 2021 to help pay for the expansion of the water system. Specifically, the base rate for culinary water has increased by $5.90 (from $13.00 to $18.90), and for the first two tiers, the usage rate has increased by $0.25 per thousand gallons. The remaining tiers for water use have increased by $0.50 per thousand gallons. This increase also applies to all categories of Culinary Water Rates.
I was charged over $120 last month for 1500 gallons of water I think there’s a mistake here
Hi Dale,
I wonder if you have a water leak? You may be able to hear water running if there is. In any case, could you bring your billing to the city office? They will review your bill and if there is a mistake, they will fix it or give you some guidance on how to get the leak fixed.
Thank you for your question,
Lyle
Does Tremonton city have a water leaking allowance for homeowners that have had a water leakage issue?
