Tremonton City is currently accepting applications for a part-time position of Clerk II – Billing Clerk and Parks & Recreation Receptionist without benefits working 28 hours a week at a starting wage of $13.00 per hour. Position will perform clerical/secretarial duties, which include customer service, collecting and sorting mail, collecting and entering payments, business licensing, assisting with recreation activities, entering registration for participants into computer, and other duties as assigned under the direction of the City Treasurer and Parks & Recreation Director.
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related experience. Knowledge of the written English language with regard to proper grammar, spelling and punctuation; clerical and general office practices and procedures; City ordinances, policies and procedures; telephone procedures and etiquette; and skills in use of computers and computer programs such as Excel and Microsoft Word; 10-Key, printer, copier, fax, and telephone system is preferred.
