Tremonton City is currently accepting applications for part-time positions of School Crossing Guard (working 45 minutes each afternoon school is in session) and Substitute School Crossing Guard (having no set hours and working only when requested by the Police Department) without benefits at a starting wage of $15.00 per hour. Position will report to a predetermined location to help children cross the roadway in the safest possible manner and instructs school children on safe crossing techniques.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of school crossing regulations, pedestrian safety, and skills in interacting and communicating effectively with the public. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time with bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching and working on irregular surfaces.
