Tremonton City is currently accepting applications for a part-time position of Clerk II – Court Clerk without benefits working 29 hours per week at a starting wage of $12.71 per hour. Position will perform a variety of routine to complex Court duties such as assisting the public, taking Court payments, scheduling and attending Court, preparing letters and reports, performing Court docketing, and maintaining files and records. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with one (1) year of related experience and one (1) year of college level courses in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Candidates must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check. Knowledge of the written English language with regard to proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, clerical and general office practices, CORIS and Microsoft Office Products, e-mail and local, state, and federal laws relating to Court, with skills in operating computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, and proper telephone etiquette.
