Paws Enforcing Justice!

Oskar is a 23 Month old Belgian Malinois who originated from Russia and came to the United States for continued law enforcement training through Rose Cox at Oquirrhberg Kennels In Wendover Utah. Rose has over 27 years of law enforcement service and is certified through Utah Peace Officers Standards and Training. She has trained over 1350 police officers and their K-9 partners and served as the Utah Delegate for the National congress for Police Service Dogs.

Oskar and Officer Gailey have been attending Patrol Dog training that include K-9 skills such as: Tracking/trailing of suspect/victims, criminal evidence recovery with passive indication that does not contaminate the evidentiary value, obedience/agility and criminal apprehension and are also trained to discern between a fleeing hostile suspect and a surrendering or innocent person.

Paws Enforcing Justice is a Fundraising charity for Tremonton City’s K-9 Unit. This charity has been established by local community members to offset the high

Several fundraising events have been set up by local businesses to offset expenses. “Paws for Oskar” will be sold at our Hometown Shopko between May 7 – 20 along with the Annual  “Paws Enforcing Justice” event is an exciting, fun filled day event of exhibits and activities for all, on June 17th, at the Box Elder County Fairgrounds. Highlights of the day include Professional Comic-Con Characters for photo ops, Vendor Booths, Children’s games and activities, On-stage K-9 presentation, and much more.  The day will wrap up with a Dinner provided by Texas Roadhouse, Drawing, with live and silent Auctions.

Dinner will be provided by Texas Roadhouse and tickets can be purchased for only $20 at the Tremonton City Office or from any BRHS Key Club Member.


“Paws for Oskar!”

Donations are being excepted through the purchase of “Paws” at Shopko to be placed on their wall and later at the exhibit hall during the Paws Enforcing Justice main event on June 17. Oskar and Officer Gailey will be making visits to Shopko during the 2 week event to meet people.

PAWS ENFORCING JUSTICE GRAND EVENT!

Saturday, June 17th @ the BEC Fairgrounds with vendor, service booths, events, activities, door prizes, silent auction, family friendly games, K-9 and officers meet and great all day! Entrance is free, Donations excepted.

10am: Coloring Contests winners announced

10am-4pm: ComicCon Storm Troopers and Super Hero’s from Alpine Garrison and Heroic in #3 exhibit building. 100% of PhotoOp donations goes to the K-9 Fund.

11:45 am: Dress your Dog Costume Contest @ the Fairground Entrance

11pm-4pm: Affordable Grilled Lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers at the entrance. Sugar Mamas will be in attendance providing Sweet Treats.

5:30 – 7:30 pm: Dinner and Live Auction in the Events Building (Dinner Tickets must be purchased in advance for only $20 at the Tremonton City Office or from any BRHS Key Club member.)

Dress your dog – Costume Contest!

June 17th, 11:45 am @ the Fairgrounds Entrance

Dress your dogs up and bring them over to the Fairgrounds to enjoy the days festivities.

There will be 3 categories to be part of:  Most Original, Funniest, It’s a Family Affair. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each category so dress up and come join the fun for your chance to win.

All dogs must be on a leash and cleaned up after.
