EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND PREPAREDNESS

Preparedness is an individual effort. Our community is only as prepared as our least-prepared citizen. Preparedness is a journey, not a destination.
Tremonton City actively prepares for disasters through training and preparedness activities. It is our responsibility to keep Tremonton City’s departments functioning throughout the phases of emergencies. We rely on individuals and families to prepare themselves by having survival kits and cash available to meet family needs when the disaster occurs.

Code RED is the Emergency notification system used for all of Box Elder County. Land lines through Frontier are registered. All individuals that have mobile devices and/or web-based phones will need to register their phone numbers to their physical address at CodeRED. If you need assistance, please contact me. Code RED also has a mobile app that will notify you when there is an emergency within 25 miles of your location. It can be found in most mobile app sites.

Tremonton City has prepared by creating an Emergency Operations Plan as well as a CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team).

There are many websites available to assist you in preparing for emergencies.  Please visit the preparedness links below for more information:
